China and the Netherlands Hold 9th Human Rights Consultation

From October 8 to 9, 2015, the 9th human rights consultation between China and the Netherlands was held in the Netherlands. The consultation was co-chaired by Special Representative for Human Rights Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Liu Hua and Human Rights Ambassador Kees van Baar of the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands and attended by officials in charge of diplomatic, judicial, security and other affairs of the two countries.

Both sides introduced their respective new progress in promoting and protecting human rights and exchanged opinions on human rights view and topics of common interest. They held that the consultation was candid and fruitful, and expressed their willingness to continuously conduct human rights exchanges based on equality and mutual respect.
