On March 18, 2024, Ambassador Fu Cong, Head of the Chinese Mission to the EU, met with Ian Saunders, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO). They both spoke highly of the closer cooperation between China Customs and WCO and had an in-depth exchange of views on issues such as the implementation of “Smart Customs”, the cooperation in capacity building, preparations for the Sixth WCO Global AEO Conference, and personnel exchanges.
