EU Diplomatic Missions Expresses Willingness to Cooperate With China in SARS Battle (03/05/2003)

On May 2, 2003, Greek Ambassador Charalambos Rocanas, on behalf of the diplomats of the 25 European Union(EU) nations and head of the EU delegation to China,  wrote to Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing,expressing appreciation for China's efforts on prevention and control of severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS). He thanked the Foreign Ministry for its timely offering of SARS information to foreign diplomats and said they were willing to conduct comprehensive and concrete cooperation with related Chinese departments.
