In 19- 21 May 2025, the 7th China-EU Working Group Meeting on Alcoholic Beverages was held in Brussels, Belgium. Mr Li Jingsong, Director General of the Import and Export Food Safety Bureau of the General Administration of Customs of China（GACC）, led the Chinese delegation to attend the meeting. From the EU side，Ms. Siracusa Elisabetta, Director for International Relations of the Directorate-General for Agriculture and Rural Development (DG AGRI), Ms. Catherine Combette, Head of the Asia & Australasia Unit, along with relevant officials from the European Commission and EU Member States, and representatives of the European Wine and Spirits Associations participated in the meeting.

Both sides engaged in in-depth exchanges and discussions on topics of mutual interest, including laws and regulations on alcoholic beverages, labeling, lot codes protection, product standards, intellectual property rights, and the GI protection. Representatives from the Mission of China to the EU also attended the meeting and related activities.
