Spokesperson of the Chinese Mission to the EU Speaks on a Question Concerning NATO Secretary General’s China-related Remarks
2023-04-05 19:45

Q: On April 5, 2023, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said at a press conference after the NATO Foreign Ministers Meeting that any provision of lethal aid by China to Russia would have profound implications. NATO will continue its policy towards China as determined at the Madrid Summit and will step up cooperation with four Indo-Pacific countries to deal with the China challenge. What is your comment on this?

A: We have noticed Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s remarks and firmly oppose NATO’s repeated smears and accusations against China. China’s position on the relevant issues is clear and has been stressed many times. Why NATO does not reflect on itself first and count how many bombs it has dropped on the soil of foreign countries?
