3. Is the physical examination necessary? Where shall I do it?

Yes. Physical exam form is a must in your application documents. You can do it in any hospital; the form must bear the stamps of the hospital or the signature of the doctor. * Applicants who are already in China and hold student's visa needs no physical exam again.

4. What if I have no high school diploma? What if I will acquire my degrees in the coming June or July, 2015?

For language students, a high school diploma is the lowest threshold. You are encouraged to contact Chinese universities for admission in advance. If you get one, please enclose it in your application package which may increase your chances of being admitted, and you are most likely to be assigned to that University by CSC. There is no problem if you don't have one; actually, every year, most applicants apply without it

6. Are recommendation letters necessary?

Yes and No. It's a must only for senior scholars, master or doctor degree pursuers, and you should have two letters written in English or Chinese from professors or associate professors. It's unnecessary for others programs (language or bachelor degree study). But we suggest you provide it to increase your chances of being admitted.

A Study/Research plan includes: your motivation to study in China; why you are interested in learning/researching the targeting subject (e.g.: Chinese language and culture; China's urbanization & industrialization; Green Energy etc.); what you plan to learn/research in the following years; your early studies on the subject, the strength of your targeting university in China. A well-elaborated study/research plan shows your academic competency and right attitude which convince CSC you are the right candidate.

Normally, in the middle of July. We will announce the name-list of those admitted in our website (Same page as this one). You can also double check it by bruising CSC website.

13. How do I get the admission documents?

We will send them to you by post from Brussels.

* In your application package, you need to attach an envelope with your address and stamps ready. If you are selected, we will use this envelope to mail the admission documents from Brussels to you. The address and postage are at your own responsibilities. Please be reminded that we will not return these envelopes if you are not selected.

14.Is the international postal coupon necessary? How many coupons needed?

Yes. The coupons and an envelop with your address enable us to post your admission document to you from Brussels. Normally three coupons are needed to send the documents. For Belgian applicants, just stick some Belgian stamps on your empty envelop. It's also desirable for applicants from other countries to stick Belgian stamps if no coupon available in your country.

* Please don't enclose money in the envelop, it's not permitted by the post office and even a penny may cause great trouble to us!

15. How was the admission procedure? What if I was not admitted to my desired university?

CSC will assess all the applications and forward the qualified applicants to HEI(high education institutions) for final decision. Whether you will be admitted the applicants will be made by them. The applications will be regarded as invalid and will not be accepted if they fail to meet the eligibility or the application documents are incomplete.

CSC reserves the right to make necessary adjustments on the proposed institutions, majors and duration of study. So, it's natural if you are distribute to a HEI which you didn't choose. But, please note that all the HEIs under our scholarship program are very good.
